Commissioner Hamilton's Gunboat 1808  Eighty-five of these gunboats were in service throughout Napoleonīs empire. These gunboats carried long barrel 48-pounder cannon with limited rotation. They carried a fully rotating 48-pounder carronade at the stern. Their planking was distinctive with carvel planking (flush fitted caulked planks) used on their sides down to the gunwales. Clinker planking (lap strake, overlapping) was used from the gunwales down to the keel. Kit is based on original plans from the British Admiralty. Kit includes cast metal canon, brass fittings, and a milled stand with formed stanchions, instructions, printed sails. Scale 1:50  L 14.77",  W 4.17", H 15.86  # 2028B  $289.00
